Did you know that the Walt Disney World® Resort may be the most diverse place in the world?
When you visit there look around, notice how many people who work and play there are from a different culture or background than yours. Notice that they really have a rich and diverse environment right there in their own backyard.
If you would like to get to know more about other cultures and people, what better place than Disney World! They have the most diverse food offerings anywhere in the world. They have the most diverse Cast Members anywhere in the world. They have the most diverse Guests anywhere in the world. They have the most diverse attractions and entertainment than anywhere in the world.
They have all of this because they are very inclusive and Respect, Appreciate, and Value EVERYONE! Just think about that for a while. What a great environment to be able to come to every day. It was quite stimulating for me when I worked there, and I hope it will be for you too! How inclusive and diverse is your organization? How diverse are your children’s and your friends?
PS: The worst example of leadership that I have seen recently is the show, The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The way they behave with each other and in front of their children is a disgrace. What poor role-models the children have. I hope this is just a show and not really the real housewives of New Jersey or any other state. Have a good weekend everyone.
I totally agree with you, I am a WDW castmember and there is no place on earth that can compete with the diversity that exists at WDW. The best part is that we all have a great time learing from one another and our guests.
For myself, I believe that my education in diversity began when I went to a public school instead of a private school for my high school years. It taught me how to coexist and how we all can be friends, no matter what race, culture or economic backgroud we’re from.
