Hi Everyone…Sorry post is so late but I flew back from a four day book tour in Brazil and had to take a big nap today. More at: www.LeeCockerell.com
PS: The post right before this one now has the guest letter I referred to which was missing.
I had a great trip to Brazil. I arrived in Sao Paulo on Monday morning and went right to work with interviews with all of the newspapers, magazines, in flight magazines and did web interviews as well. I will let you know when they are on the web in case you are interested in seeing me live. My book Creating Magic has the title Criando Magia in Brazil.
The people and the country are just great. my publisher there, Sextante is a wonderful and professional company that really treated me well. Brazilians love Disney so I was made to feel special at every turn. The food and service were both exceptional.
I now plan to do more business in Brazil and already have met some people who want to partner with me to form a business relationship and put up a Brazilian web site like mine here in the US. This one will be in Portuguese.
It was an easy trip as there is now an easy direct flight on TAM airlines from Orlando to Sao Paulo. TAM did a great job. Service, food and safety were all top notch.
Once again I learned a lot. There is no learning like experience.
Thank you to all of my new friends in Brazil including Paul, Marcos, Marcela, Sofia, Natasha and all my friends at Wish Marketing and Special Events for making me feel special and for introducing me to your wonderful country and people….Lee
Lee, does this mean you are going to learn Portuguese? Or maybe you already know the language? This opportunity sounds very exciting!
It was great to have you here! Come back soon with your amazing tips and knowledge.
Thank you for this update Lee. I was wondering how the trip went. I was fortunate to attend a conference in Rio de Janeiro in 2007, and also fell in love with the country. The people are fantastic, and the countryside is beautiful. I can’t wait to hear more about your Brazilian collaborations.
All my best,
Dave
