Kick What?

President Obama has really lost it. What  in the world is he doing saying, ” I know who’s a_ _ to kick?” As I read the accounts of the administrations reaction to the BP oil spill I really wonder if President Obama is losing it. I am as upset as anyone over this spill…we all are. If he want’s to kick someone’s a_ _ , he should start with congress and the different layers of government regulators who were not doing their job.  If they had been on top of things this probably would not have happened in the first place.

Our president should also moniter his language. He should read my blog from a few days ago, “Work The Problem.” In my whole career I have not found that kicking someone was very productive in achieving team work. It just kind of wants to make you get even with them.  What I find  more disturbing is  that our president did not immediately sit down with BP and work on a plan together. This happended weeks ago and they have not met yet. Who’s bright idea was that?

Anytime we had a serious problem or crisis at Disney World, I had my whole team and other experts in the command center working the problem. We opened our command center in 30 minutes and got to work on “Working The Problem” 24/7 until it was over. We did not sit around blaming, criticizing  and making senseless comments about kicking someone. Leaders don’t do that.

This just shows again that “talking” and “doing” are two different skills. President Obama is not doing either one too well right now.

I did vote for  President Obama because George W. was even worse at talking and doing.

We sure have a lot of regulators in the US government. Not sure that they understand that their job is to keep things under control.

If we get rid of these regulators starting with the banking group their would be plenty of money to clean up this mess.

The IRS seems to be the only ones doing their job of regulating us so we can pay for the others…..And no I don’t have a good solution for all of this poor leadership….but I do need to go fill my car with gas…..Lee

A stronger educational system that teaches objective reasoning to the voting public. Perhaps you could even persuade some of your mentees in Orange County, Florida to invest in such a program?
