Good morning everyone
Yesterday I witnessed a mother screaming at her teenage daughter in the parking lot of the grocery store I was going to. This lady was not only screaming at her daughter but was saying some very mean things. I felt like telling her to remember when she was a teenager and I felt like telling her daughter that luckly she would be able to leave home in a few years and get away from this mad woman. The lady turned to me and said at the top of her lungs…”Yuk, teenagers.!”
Be careful how you react. There is nothing that a teenager can do that justifies a parent affecting their self-esteem. No one has the right to speak to another person the way this lady did. She damaged her relationship with her daughter yesterday. I see it all of the time. The adults need to behave like adults and not like their teenage children.
On another subject there are three seats left for my Dallas leadership seminar on April 4-5. Go to: www.wcbfmd.com
