“Nobody knows you have low self-confidence but you. And chances are, most people in the room feel the same way.”
If you’re struggling with confidence, let me tell you, you are not alone. Most of us go through times where we question our worth. But I’ve learned that confidence is something you build, not something you’re born with.
One of the best ways to build your confidence is by changing your environment. Moving can change your life. When I left Oklahoma and joined the Army, I got away from the people who remembered me as “the kid who didn’t do great in school.” That distance gave me room to grow and become who I really was, not who people thought I’d be.
Do something bold like move to a new city, start something new, or join a new organization that is outside of your comfort zone. Get uncomfortable. You’ll get creative fast. You’ll figure things out. And you’ll realize you’re more capable than you think.
Moving isn’t in the cards for everyone. Don’t use that as an excuse though. Become an expert in something. Study. Practice. Teach others. People trust experts. And when people trust you, your confidence grows naturally.
Use tools like the free Morning Magic Planner on my website. Do it every day for 30 days, and you’ll see results. Confidence comes from action, progress, and showing up for yourself every single day.
No one else can do it for you. You’ve got what it takes.
