I went around to all of the stores this week to check out pricing on like products. I like many of you are looking for ways to save money.
Walmart without a doubt is the best value. I know you have read that and heard that but if you are in the market to save money and get quality products I would suggest you check it out.Costco is the best place I have found so far for bulk products. So if you need 30 rolls of toilet paper or lots of paper towels go there. For everyday food products and many other items Walmart does indeed offer high value.
If anyone has ideas on how to save money on everyday purchases, let me know. I am looking for ways to save on my daily expenses since Wall Street took a big hit on my finances. If you shape it right, ground beef looks like a sirloin steak. Good luck out there with this terrible economy…Lee
I remember when I was growing up, my dad got fired during the Air Traffic Controllers Strike. We ended up on pretty hard times but I think I was happier then because life got so simple. We weren’t worried about excesses. We were happy to eat, happy to get something for Christmas, happy to be together. “And when our bankroll is getting small, we’ll think about the times when we had none at all, and we’ll fall asleep, counting our blessings.”
Another way to save money when grocery shopping is to purchase fruits and vegetables when they are in season. If you knew what they put on grapes and bell peppers to make them last so long you would never eat them so beware.
